Accreditation from the Ministry of Health – the first family bank in Poland
PBKM was the first cord blood bank to be audited and to attain accreditation from the Ministry of Health to operate in compliance with the guidelines of “Cell tissue and organ collection, preservation and transplantation agreement”. The licence verifies legal and quality compliance with the requirements outlined by the Statute to all public and private entities.
Accreditation of the National Banking and Tissue Center
It confirms compliance with legal and quality requirements set out in the Act and imposed on all public and private entities.
European Association of Family Cord Blood Banks Certificate- the only bank in Poland
PBKM was awarded the certificate of European Association of Family Cord Blood Banks as the only bank from Poland. Already in 2007 our service was evaluated as compliant with the standards determined by the organization associating family cord blood banks from several European countries.
ISO 9001 certificate - one of the first in Poland since 2004
Already in 2004, PBKM obtained certification of the quality management system ISO 9001: 2000 for the service of collecting, storing and freezing stem cells from umbilical cord blood.

In May 2011, PBKM received the title of Supporting Member of Polish Society for Regenerative Medicine.The main objective of the Polish Society of Regenerative Medicine is a public activity for the protection and promotion of health in the area of regenerative medicine.
